In this final episode of BioGenesis season 3, \u201cbreaking the mold,\u201d second-year graduate student Cesar Dominguez discusses his experience emigrating from Mexico to the U.S. at a young age. Growing up in a relatively homogenous community in New Hampshire led him to seek out more diverse perspectives as he honed his research skills in structural biology. Now, he studies the nuclear pore complex in the Schwartz lab, and works to make science more inclusive as a teaching assistant and undergraduate residence advisor.<\/p>\n
